Dhikala Zone : | The dhikala, Jim Corbett, is the largest and the most popular in the park. It consists of various wildlife, such as tigers, elephants, and deer. This spot commands a good view of the Ramganga River and other landscapes that lie around it. |
Bijrani Zone: | This is the most popular zone of all, with beautiful forest landscapes and a high chances of spotting a tiger. This zone is ideal for people who want to experience the 'tiger sighting' moment. |
Jhirna Zone : | The zone remains open throughout the year and has a mixture of dense forests and open grasslands. Jhirna gate, Jim Corbett offers different varieties of habitats to wild species such as the sloth bear and wild boar. |
Dhela Zone : | It is a relatively new zone in the park. Boasts a great variety of birdlife, and one can often come across herds of elephants and other animals. |
Garjia Safari Zone: | This zone has been named after the famous Garjia Devi Temple, which is located in its vicinity. Characterized by a tranquil environment, this zone forms an excellent site for the observation and appreciation of the avifauna and natural beauty of the area. |
Sitabani Buffer Zone: | Though not technically a part of the core area, this zone has its own share of mythology and history. This place is said to be associated with Sita, the wife of Lord Rama, who spent her days in exile here. This zone is also inhabited by a wide variety of wild animals and is a quiet retreat. |
Durga Devi Zone : | Located in the northeastern part of the park, this zone forms a major place to visit for those interested in bird watching. It offers a view of some rare species like black-chinned babblers and crested serpent eagles. |
Phato Jeep Safari Zone: | Fato Zone/Phato Zone is the tenth tourism zone to be operated from Ramnagar. With the opening of this gate, apart from Corbett national park and Sitabani tiger reserve another jungle safari has become an option for the tourists. |
