Do's
- Official permits are essential for entering the Corbett Tiger Reserve, so ensure to enter the park only after getting the permit.
- Tourists must carry a litter bag while entering the park and bring back their non-biodegradable garbage, like plastic bottles, metal foils, tin cans, etc, outside the park.
- Get an official registered Nature guide that will help you spot wildlife and ensure you do not lose your way in the forest.
- Wild animals are the actual assets of the park. Respect and keep a safe distance from wild animals.
- Listen to the soft music in the forest instead of your stereo.
- It is advisable to wear comfortable clothes of light colors, which merge with the natural surroundings, like khaki, olive green, and some other dull colors.
- Please switch off fans, lights, and water taps when not in use.
- Obtaining a clearance certificate before leaving your residence within the Tiger Reserve is compulsory.
- A maximum of two adults and two children (below 12 years) per room can stay in the traveler zone area. Furthermore, be sure to arrange your excursion according to the availability of rooms.
- Drive slowly.
Dont's
- Do not carry firearms within the Tiger Reserve. It is strictly prohibited.
- Smoking and lighting any fire is strictly prohibited within the Tiger Reserve.
- Driving after sunset is strictly prohibited inside the Tiger Reserve area.
- Cooking is not allowed inside the Sanctuary Park.
- Do not play any transistors and tape recorders.
- Do not take your vehicles off the designated routes, causing plant or animal damage.
- Do not blow horns. Driving above the speed limit is strictly not allowed.
- Take care of zones, as visitors' entry into the restricted zone is prohibited.
- Shouting, bullying, or trying to feed animals are strictly prohibited and will invite severe penalties.
- Non-vegetarian food is strictly not allowed within the Corbett Tiger Reserve.
- Don't enter the Jim Corbett National Park after sunset.
- Your permit to the National Park is non-transferable, so do not try any unfair means.
